They are thieves they stole my son's play station 3 and all his games they broke a spicket, belongings they are unprofessional rude and they barely cleaned my house the chemicals they used to deodorize my house caused me ashma problems and hives. This is the worst company ever do not do business with them. There are so many complaints about their shoty work and the fact they come in your home and steal whatever they want and deny it when comfronted.

Questionable company Servpro

We asked Servpro in Nashua NH to give a quote on cleaning heating vents in our 3 bedroom house. They counted registers and took a few pictures and then charged us $150 to provide a quote.

They said the $150 would be applied to the work if we moved forward. We were shocked that they wanted $1200 for the work which seems exorbitantly high.

I was thinking it would take an experienced person four to six hours and $200 per hour is crazy for unskilled work!

The $150 was essentially a hook and a questionable practice in my opinion. We will find another company.

After a basement flood, we contacted Sean at Servpro. They responded right away and explained all of the services that they would provide. We agreed to their price and they were at our home the next day with a dozen industrial fans and two large dehumidifiers to dry out the basement. I had already used a shop vac to get the water out of the carpet as best I could. They told us if we paid cash, we would pay $2800 instead of $3200, which we decided to do. After five days they picked up the equipment and sprayed some kind of chemical through the basement and left. I was not there when they left and had left the cash with my mom to pay. They did not want to provide a receipt for what they did and so my mom wouldn't give them the cash. So, they got a piece of company letterhead and wrote out a few things that were done and offered that as a receipt. Unfortunately, many of the services that they told us they would provide were not listed and were not done. Calls and e-mails to Sean have gone unanswered. We have large amounts of mold growing from areas that were supposed to have been sprayed and wiped down to prevent this from occurring. They asked us to have sliders under furniture so that they could move it. I did this, but none of the furniture was touched. I could tell that they sprayed something as the mildew odor was not present when they left, but within 3 days it was back and we started to see the mold growth that I spoke of earlier. If you have to use this company, make sure that you get everything in writing as to what they are to do. They have standard type paperwork that offers generic services for customers to sign.

We had water damage and State Farm is contracted with servpro who came and did restoration. First off they were very messy and their workers came and gone as they pleased.

Second they are trying to put a lean on our house because they are waiting for a check from out MORTGAGE company. We have nothing to do with it and they want to put a lean on our house!

Bad bad business! DO NOT recommend anyone using them!

Do not use servpro!!! Horrible company!! A Tec was sent to my house to look at the mold damage on my walls. He looked around, took pictures, and then said he would cover the mold but then quickly left. Shortly after I realized my engagement ring was missing!!! The servpro Tec took my engagement ring! I can't believe it!! Who would think that a Tec would steal on the job! When the owners of the house I'm renting called servpro on my behalf they said that I probably just misplaced my $3500 ring, that their Tec wouldn't have taken it. Then when I called to talk to the president of the company rob carpenter I got the typical "he's in a meeting" bs!!! I was promised a call back today and of course I never received that call. Since they are a franchise their cooperate also said they couldn't help me!! This is my engagement ring! Gone forever and not one person even cared enough to tell me they were sorry that THIER Tec took my ring. My insurance won't even cover the full cost of my ring, not even close. So I won't even be getting a new ring because we just don't have the money. This company clearly doesn't put their customers first. They are not there when they are needed. Do not trust this company! I will be posting this to as many sites as I can so that no one else suffers a loss as I have.

Careless, Haphazard, Thiefs

After a kitchen fire, I specifically requested to keep certain cabinetry

not badly damaged for my workshop and they disposed of them.

Blinds were ripped out breaking the clips and left in my garage.

When I looked for my egg cooker that was a cabinet with plastic containers which were undamaged, it wasn't in the bag for the items of that cabinet. I took a picture of the open cabinet after fire showing the cooker and plastic wear in fine shape.

When confronted, they wanted me to take a polygraph for a $20 egg

cooker I couldn't find after the stress of the kitchen fire and being burned trying to put it out! OUTRAGEOUS!

Totally insensitive, with an unconscionable attitude towards people!

My mother had a pipe that broke in the downstairs bathroom that flooded the downstairs area. Her insurance company sent ServPro to handle. What a mess. The took out the vanity and other fixtures and left it outside in the elements for over three weeks while they "dried out" the area and removed what they claimed to be asbestos. When it came time to install the carpet, we were told someone would come out, measure and turn it around in a couple days. After waiting for several days we called and the "supervisor" said he would come himself to handle. That never happened either. When we caught up with the "supervisor" he said he was sending Freddye who was on his way. After receiving Freddye's phone number, I called and Freddye was clearly on the other side of town with no knowledge of this job. We promptly called ServPro back to forget it and called another company to install the carpet and fixtures. Very bad experience that has taken well over a month to complete was should have been a week at best.

Servpro was hired by my insurance company against my better judgement to dry out a room that leaked from winter snow buildup. I didnt see the purpose of this as i still have a leak. In any event their crew came to my home and pulled down the walls and ceiling and left fand and a dehumidifier running on my electric bill i might add. Then they sprayed everything with some antinbacterial substance. They claim this to be a harmless substance. Well thr smell made my physically ill with an excruciating migraine and vomiting. I had to leave my home at 2am to stay at a neighbors home. I called the company the next day and complained about this horrible smell. They sent someone over to air things out. When i got home from work the smell was much less and i was able to sleep in my own home. Just as i thought things were getting better i came home from work tonight to find that the crew returned again today in my absence and sprayed the room again!!!!! They knew this made me ill....what the heck!! I now had to leave again and bring my ailing asthmatic cat with me to impose yet again on my neighbor! I am so disgusted with this crooked outfit! They just dont listen!!! How dare they come into my home and so something like this.!!! I will be in contact with my lawyer to deal with this situation

This happened about 4yrs ago.Had a fire in the basement. Servpro recommended by adjuster.After 3 weeks all they had done was dry out and basically wreck any thing in sight.No cleaning at all!! In fact, my wife went down with bleach water and cleaned 3 sg ft of a wall.When confronted the franchise owner said that they had done all they could.My son in law is a contractor and redid the whole basement in 2 weeks.When it came time to settle the bill, the"foreman"palmened the check and they only brought back the upstairs furnature, leaving us about $10000 in the hole.My advice to anyone with a disaster situation is to get your own storage trailer and put up the undestroyed goods as these people will hold your property hostage for payment.They are like bodyshop/repair shops, if your car is totaled they will part it out for a good profit.Thus with disaster companies, anything "condemned"by your insurance co.will be sold by them.How do you think they make that much money in a labour intensive industry.

My experience was a very good one. Like any business, it depends on the team.

I recently had a small kitchen fire. The smoke was horrible, particularly because I was recently diagnosed with a rare respiratory disorder and the smoke made me extremely ill. My insurance company brought ServPro of Columbia, SC (Rabon Rd. Location) to my home and I was skeptical because I didn't think anything could get the smoke out of my home. I was scared and devastated by the whole process. Mr. Hinson and his family who all work together, walked me through this process as if I was a family member. long story short, they got the smoke out of my house. I can tell you that it had to be gone or I couldn't have stayed in it. They are very honest. There were some things that were porous and just could not be rid of smoke. They honored this and shared it with my insurance company. They were fair and trustworthy. I was totally comfortable with them being in my home while I was at work. Everyone they brought in my home did exactly what they said they would do. I really do not know what I would have done without them in this process. I had contractors in my home who did not follow through on our contract and ServPro guided me through a lot of that turmoil. I would definitely recommend ServPro that is operated by the Hinson family. Like any company, it is only as good as the people who are involved. I am by no means rich but I do have fine antiques and other things that are dear to me. They inventoried every single thing and everything came back the way it left my home minus the smoke. If you are in the Columbia SC area and have restoration needs call William Hinson. He is a professional and just a very good person. He and his family will take care of your restoration needs and If they can't they will tell you. My parents are dead and I have no family in Columbia. I went in leery but came out trusting that I had a professional team in my home that would get the job done and they did. I wish everyone could have had the same experience I did.

They were working in my house and came back in after taking a long break, they smelled like pot and I also think they were drunk. I called the brighton Servpro and spoke with a manager named josh and he only gave me the run around. What a bunch of idiots!

Servpro in Durango, Colorado;;a franchise owned by a very vocal, obnoxious, and greedy man. This company serves as a bad example for Servpro, by knowingly allowing its subcontractors to perform the worst of the worst work, subcontractors

that exploit their workers, some workers told us that they have to ask for their pay

after going weeks or month without pay. This subcontractor. Keystone contractors,

appears to hire inexperienced young men to work as carpenters, a trade that they

appear to have no knowledge of, their plumbers and sheetrock installers are yoyos

that have no pride in their horrible work.

Our house was left in a deplorable state, Servpro and Keystone contractors took

their money and ran, as of now, I have called Servpro in Tennessee hoping that they

can do something with this franchise that is ruining their reputation.

ServPro sent 6 labor ready clowns in tyvec suits who removed all items from basements and put in dumpster.They never made any inventory lists at all.They took washers and dryers and put them in their trucks.We caught one worker up on 2nd floor going thru drawers stealing.We called police and they arrested one worker.No supervision at all,these ServPro crooks are raping the insurance companys and causing our premiums to go up.The bill was way out of control!AVOID ServPro ! Don't let insurance company talk you into using them!AGAIN....avoid all serpro type /franchise companys........................

Servpro sucks. Since they are a franchise there is no training needed to own one.

A lot of the owners use labor sources because they are cheaper. It does not surprise me that they didn't do a non-salvage inventory because they are not trained to handle contents. I worked in fire and water restoration for 9 years. My company got called to handle servpro's mistakes when they got fired off jobs.

If your adjuster recommends servpro you can ask for other companies they recommend.

The contractor is hired by YOU and NOT your insurance company. I wish more homeowners were aware of that.

A long time coming, if you live in Lancaster Pennsylvania Do Not use Servpro. I have never had so much BS from the old man (Owner) and he is a professional? , He reminds me of a *** artist. The crew does not know what they are doing. They have 3 people standing around watching one guy work. Even the Sales lady has no experience. I would not reccomend them to my worst enemy.

Boy, I couldn't agree with you more. Having worked at that location, I can attest to the owner's unprofessional, dishonest attitude and behavior.

His son, who calls himself "management" is even worse.

*** and flamboyant don't even begin to scratch the surface.

I highly suggest if you need restoration services in Lancaster, PA....call Paul Davis. Avoid Servpro in Lancaster AT ALL COSTS.
