Our family owned a Servpro. They have a program that robs the franchise owners and the patrons. The franchise pays the payroll taxes which are onerous. The owners and managers are encouraged to pay both office workers and field workers minimum wage or under. The office workers must constantly learn new computer programs which serve only Servpro Corporation and burn out the employees.
The field workers clean up toxic mold, sewage and bloody remains from suicides, death and murders and other unsavory substances for extremely low wages. There is a constant turnover of employees because the hideous nature of the work. The franchise owner must retrain new workers at their own expense.
It is a twenty-four hour service so family owners are exhausted and demoralized to the bone. The nearby Servpro Franchises steal your business. The profit is minimal or non-existent. I personally lost close to $500,000. I had to move out of my house and buy a much smaller one.
I renamed it Slavepro.
I bought it for my adult children and they were miserable for four years. All of us got a very extensive education in the appalling and repulsive nature of corporate United States of America. Very demoralizing but enlightening experience.
We got out. In spite of everything my family was just relieved to have such selfish, evil people out of our lives.
Reason of review: Work Experience or Job Application.
Servpro Cons: Servpro corporation.
